（少字去聲）法安年十八。講涅槃經。張永問年幾永歎曰。昔扶風朱勃年十二能讀書。人號才童。今安公可曰義少。

('Shao' is in the departing tone.) Fa'an was eighteen years old when he lectured on the Nirvāṇa Sūtra. When Zhang Yong asked his age, Yong sighed and said: ‘In the past, Zhu Bo of Fufeng could read books at age twelve, and people called him a boy of talent. Today, Master An can be called a youth of doctrine.’”
