矯害 (The first character has the fanqie ju + yao [jiǎo]. The Kaosheng says: 'Jiǎo means deceitful and reckless.' Zheng Xuan's commentary to the Zhouli says: 'It means fraudulent.' The Shuowen writes it with shǒu [hand] as 撟. The second character has the fanqie hai + gai [hài]. The Shuowen says: 'It means to harm.' It is derived from mián [宀, roof]—pronounced mián—and kǒu [口, mouth], with fēng [丰] phonetic. Fēng is pronounced jiè).
