Venerating and elucidating [崇闡] (First character: chuang-long fan [chóng]; Zheng's notes to the Mao Poetry: "Chong [崇] means sequence/rank." Jia's commentary to the Guoyu: "To respect." Zheng's commentary to the Liji: "To honor." Shuowen: "Lofty; composed of 'mountain' [山] with 'zong' [宗] phonetic; sometimes written as [崈]." Second character: chang-yan fan [chǎn]; Han Kangbo's commentary to the Xici: "Chan [闡] means to make clear." Guangya: "To open up." Shenglei: "To open wide."
