尚殞（字書尚猶也下雲敏反考聲殞死也或作隕孔注尚書云墜也爾雅落也說文高下也易曰有隕自天也從阜員聲也員音云也）。

尚殞 (In character dictionaries, 尚 means 'still'. The lower character is pronounced 雲 plus 敏 in fanqie. The Kaosheng says: '殞 means to die.' It is also written as 隕. Kong's commentary on the Shangshu says: 'It means to fall.' The Erya says: 'It means to drop.' The Shuowen says: 'To descend from a height.' The Yijing says: 'There was a falling from heaven.' It is composed of the radical 阜 with 員 as the phonetic element; 員 is pronounced 云).
