捺囉（二合二合者上下兩字各取半聲合為一字上捺音弩紇反下囉音先取羅字上聲加轉舌即是下文諸有二合皆同此例囉字亦准此也）。

“捺囉” (Conjunct consonant [nra]: ‘conjunct consonant’ means taking half the sound of both the upper and lower characters and combining them into a single syllable. The upper character 捺 is fanqie 弩 + 紇 [nà]; the lower character 囉 is pronounced by first taking the rising tone of the character 羅 and adding a rolled tongue. All conjunct consonants below follow this rule, and the character 囉 also conforms to this).
