三重（直龍反言三重非是高下纍作三層乃是從壇心向外周匝分為三重聖位其壇高四指量上面平如方案一切念誦壇場皆如此作）。

Three tiers (三重: fanqie zhi + long; saying "three tiers" does not mean stacking three levels high and low, but rather dividing the sacred seats into three encircling tiers from the center of the altar outward; the altar is four fingers in height, and its upper surface is level like a table; all altar-grounds for recitation are constructed in this way).
