Hesitating 蜘蛛 (the first character is 雉知 fanqie; the second character is 柱誅 fanqie; the Boya says: "Chizhu means hesitant"; correctly written as chouchu 躊躇; the Wenzi dian shuo states: "Pacing back and forth (zhizhu 蹢躅)"; both are composed of 足 with 知 and 朱 as their phonetics; in the text of the treatise the character zhu 跦 is written as chu 蹰, a vulgar and counterfeit form).
