蝗蟲（胡光反下逐融反爾雅食苗心曰螟食葉曰[膗-隹+(大/虫)]徒得反食根曰蟊音矛食節曰賊四種皆蝗蟲也並蟲災異名也）。

蝗蟲 (胡 + 光 fanqie; the lower character is 逐 + 融 fanqie. The Erya says: 'Those that eat the hearts of seedlings are called 螟; those that eat the leaves are called [膗-隹+(大/虫)] (徒 + 得 fanqie); those that eat the roots are called 蟊 (pronounced 矛); those that eat the joints are called 賊. These four kinds are all locusts; they are different names for insect plagues').
