倍挹（傍每反上聲字孔注尚書俗之有半於二百為五百也說文倍反也下音色考聲損也謙也經文作抱書誤也甚乖經意）。

倍挹 [to double and yield] (The first is fanqie: 傍 + 每, an ascending-tone character; Kong [Anguo's] commentary on the Shangshu says: "According to popular usage, doubling half of two hundred gives five hundred." The Shuowen says: "*Bei* means to double." The second character is pronounced 色; the Kaosheng says: "To reduce; to be modest." The sūtra text writes 抱, which is an orthographical error and greatly contrary to the sūtra's meaning).
