寶鐸（上寶字正體從宀音綿從王從缶甫苟反從貝今經文從珍作寶俗用字非正體也下唐洛反鄭注周禮云大鈴也孔安國曰金鈴木舌以宣文教）。

寶鐸 (For the first character, 寶, the orthodox form is formed from 宀 (pronounced mián), 王, 缶 (with the fanqie fǔ-gǒu), and 貝. The sūtra text nowadays writing it with 珍 as 寳 is a popular character, not the orthodox form. The second character has the fanqie táng-luò [duó]. Zheng's commentary on the Rites of Zhou says: "A large bell." Kong Anguo says: "A metal bell with a wooden clapper used to proclaim cultural teachings").
