嬾憜（上勒旦反考聲不勤也說文懈怠也從女賴聲也一云臥食曰懶或從心作懶下徒臥反廣雅憜亦嬾也韻英云懈隋也說文不敬也從心隋徒臥反聲也或作墮亦同或作𢞑古字也）。

Slothful (嬾憜: the upper character is pronounced lè-dàn fan [lǎn]. The Kaosheng says: "Not diligent." The Shuowen says: "Indolent and negligent." It takes nǚ [woman] as radical and lài as phonetic. One explanation says: "Eating while lying down is called lǎn." It is also written with xīn [heart] as 懶. The lower character is pronounced tú-wò fan [duò]. The Guangya says: "憜 also means lazy." The Yunying says: "Indolent and remiss." The Shuowen says: "Disrespectful." It takes xīn [heart] as radical and suí, tú-wò fan, as phonetic. It is also written as 墮, which is the same, or as 𢞑, an ancient character).
