懷姙 (the first character is *hu* + *guai* fanqie; in ancient script it is written with 'woman' (女) as 㜳; the *Cangjiepian* writes it as 褱, [which means] to embrace or hold; the second character is *er* + *lin* fanqie; the *Guangya* states: '姙 means pregnant (㛛),' pronounced *shēn*; it is also written as 妊; the *Shuowen* states: '妊 means pregnant (孕);' the *Kaosheng* states: 'A woman being pregnant in body; it is composed of 'woman' (女) with *ren* (壬) as phonetic').
