之誼（宜寄反鄭注周禮云能制事宜曰誼考聲云人之所宜也謚法曰善能制命曰誼行議不疾曰誼正作誼從言宜聲）。

之誼 (yí-jì [fanqie: 宜寄反]; Zheng's commentary on the Zhouli says being able to regulate affairs appropriately is called 誼; Kaosheng says what is appropriate for people; the Posthumous Titles law says being good at regulating mandates is called 誼, and deliberating conduct without haste is called 誼; properly written as 誼, having 言 as radical and 宜 as phonetic).
