六處（案梵語云阿也怛那此翻為處處謂處所出生之處也舊翻名六入失之耳梵本鉢羅吠舍此云入也）。

Six sense-bases (六處; according to Sanskrit it is āyatana, which is translated here as "bases" (處); bases refers to locations, the places from which things arise. The older translation calling them the "six entries" (六入) was inaccurate; the Sanskrit text has praveśa, which means "entry").
