栽㮆（我割反爾雅㮆餘也說文或作㮆伐木餘也從木𦍐聲經文從𦍐誤也或作𣎴古字木無頭象形字也或作蘖從薛從木）。

栽㮆 (Sprouting from a stump: [㮆 has] the fanqie 我割 [è]. The Erya says: “㮆 means remainder.” The Shuowen says: “It is also written 㮆, meaning the remnant of a felled tree.” It is composed of the semantic 木 and the phonetic 𦍐. In the sūtra text, writing it with 𦍐 is an error. It is also written 𣎴, an ancient character that is a pictograph of a headless tree. It is also written 蘖, composed of 薛 and 木.)
