虵蠍（常耶反正體作蛇下軒謁反經作蝎非也蝎音揭義訓已具前釋）。

虵蠍 (Snakes and scorpions: the first character has the fanqie 常耶 [shé]; the orthodox form is written 蛇. The second character has the fanqie 軒謁 [xiē]; the sūtra writing it 蝎 is incorrect. 蝎 has the sound 揭 [jiē]; its meaning and gloss have already been explained previously.)
