而攜（戶圭反玉篇攜持也說文攜提也從手巂聲也巂音同上考聲云巂字從屮象其冠俗作携訛也）。

And taking by the hand (而攜: 攜 is 戶 + 圭 fanqie; the Yupian says: "攜 means to hold." The Shuowen says: "攜 means to lead by hand; it takes 'hand' (手) as semantic and 巂 as phonetic." 巂 has the same pronunciation as above. The Kaosheng says: "The character 巂 takes 屮, picturing its crest. The popular form 携 is an error").
