調謔（上徒吊反廣雅調欺也求也啁也下鄉虐反毛詩傳曰謔喜樂也爾雅戲謔也郭璞曰相啁戲也說文謔即戲也並形聲字也）。

Bantering and joking (調謔: the first character is 徒 + 吊 fanqie; the Guangya says: "調 means to tease; to seek; to chirp." The second character is 鄉 + 虐 fanqie; the Mao commentary on the Shijing says: "謔 means joyful." The Erya says: "戲謔 means sport and mockery." Guo Pu says: "Teasing each other." The Shuowen says: "謔 means play." Both are phono-semantic characters).
