號訢（上音豪考聲云大器也痛聲也說文呼也從号虎聲經中作號俗用變謬也下蘇固反俗字也玉篇訴告冤枉也說文作𧩯告也從言㡿聲㡿音尺從广音儼從屰音逆經從斥是籀文平𦉴非是尺字也）。

Wailing and crying out (號訢: the first character is pronounced like 豪; the Kaosheng says: "Crying loudly; the sound of distress." The Shuowen says: "To call out; it takes 号 and 虎 as phonetic." In the sūtra it is written 號, which is a corrupt popular variation. The second character is 蘇 + 固 fanqie; it is a popular character. The Yupian says: "To report a grievance." The Shuowen writes it 𧩯, meaning to report; it takes 'speech' (言) as semantic and 㡿 as phonetic. 㡿 is pronounced 尺; it takes 广, pronounced 儼, and 屰, pronounced 逆. In the sūtra it is written with 斥, which is the seal script for 平𦉴, not the character 尺).
