訥鈍（上奴骨反苞咸注論語云訥遲鈍也說文訥語難澀也下徒嫰反蒼頡篇鈍頑也聲類不利也從金屯聲也）。

訥鈍 (The first character has the fanqie nu + gu. Bao Xian's commentary on the Analects says: "Ne means slow and obtuse." The Shuowen says: "Ne means difficult and halting speech." The second character has the fanqie tu + nen. The Cangjiepian says: "Dun means stubborn." The Shenglei says: "Blunt." Derived from the metal radical with the tun phonetic).
