乾[麩-夫+少]（昌沼反俗字也廣雅[麩-夫+少]食也埤蒼云炒米麥為[麩-夫+少]也正體從酋作𪍑桂苑珠叢云軍粮曰𪍑）。

Dry parched grain (乾[麩-夫+少]: [the second character is] chang-zhao fan; a popular character; the Guangya says: "[麩-夫+少] means food." The Picang says: "Parched rice and wheat are made into chao ([麩-夫+少])." The orthodox form takes the radical 酉, written as 𪍑; the Guiyuan zhucong says: "Military rations are called chao (𪍑).")
