混亂（上魂穩反考聲云水流大皃下鸞段反左傳曰人反德為亂亂則𡝩災生考聲亂錯也作逆也或作乱古字也李斯書嶧山碑從寸作𱚢說文從又作亂亂治也從乙乙治之也𤔔音乱聲也）。

Hunluan [chaotic confusion] (the first character is fanqie: hun- + -wen; the Kaosheng says: 'The appearance of a vast water flow.' The second character is fanqie: luan- + -duan; the Zuozhuan says: 'When humans contravene virtue, that is disorder [luan]; when disorder arises, disasters are born.' The Kaosheng says: 'Luan means mixed; committing rebellion.' Sometimes written 乱, which is an ancient character. Li Si's inscription on the Mount Yi Stele writes it with cun as 𱚢. The Shuowen writes it with you as 亂; 'luan means to regulate; composed of yi, yi meaning to bring it to order.' 𤔔 is the sound of luan).
