隍池（胡光反蒼頡篇云城下坑也說文云城池也有水曰池無水曰隍從阝音負皇聲也）。

隍池 (Moats and ponds: [huang has] the fanqie 胡光; the Cangjiepian says: 'A ditch beneath a city wall.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'City walls and moats: that with water is called a chi 池; that without water is called a huang 隍.' It is formed with the radical 阝, pronounced fu, and huang 皇 as phonetic).
