森竦（上澀簪反說文云多木高皃也從木從林林亦聲也或作槮下粟勇反考聲云上也莊子竦高也說文從立從束自甲束也會意字耳也）。

森竦 (The upper character is pronounced sen1 [se-zen fan]. The Shuowen jiezi says: 'The appearance of many tall trees.' Formed from 'wood' (木) and 'forest' (林); 林 is also phonetic. It is also written as 槮. The lower character is pronounced song3 [su-yong fan]. The Kaosheng says: 'Above.' The Zhuangzi says: '竦 means tall/elevated.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'Formed from "standing" (立) and "bundle" (束), bound together from oneself.' It is an associative compound character).
