恬怕（[牒-世+云]枯反孔注尚書恬安也方言恬靜也說文從心從甜省聲也下普白反廣雅怕靜說文無為也從心白聲拈音念甜反）。

恬怕 (Pronounced tian2 [dian-ku fan]. Kong [Anguo]'s commentary on the Book of Documents says: '恬 means tranquil.' The Fangyan says: '恬 means quiet.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'Formed from "heart" (心) with an abbreviation of 甜 as phonetic.' The lower character is pronounced bo2 [pu-bai fan]. The Guangya says: '怕 means quiet.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'Non-action.' Formed from 'heart' (心) with 白 as phonetic. 拈 is pronounced nian2 [nian-tian fan]).
