腥臭（昔精反或作胜孔安國注尚書云胜殠也說文犬膏臭也從肉星聲也）。

Rancid and foul (xingchou 腥臭: [xing is pronounced with the] fanqie xi-jing 昔精; it is also written as 胜. Kong Anguo's commentary on the Shangshu says: “Sheng 胜 means foul-smelling.” The Shuowen says: “The smell of dog fat. Composed of 'meat' (rou 肉) with xing 星 as phonetic”).
