𢤱悷（上祿董反諸字書中並無從人作者應是譯經者以意作之相傳音也唯綦韻中從心作𢤱下音麗義說云𢤱戾者掘強咈戾難調伏也並從心經從人非也）。

Intractable and perverse (𢤱悷: the first character has the fanqie lu + dong; among the various character dictionaries there is none written with the person classifier; it must have been coined arbitrarily by the translators of the sūtra according to their meaning, handed down by pronunciation; only in the Qiyun is it written with the heart classifier as 𢤱; the second character is pronounced li; doctrinal expositions say: '𢤱戾 means obstinate, stubborn, and refractory, difficult to tame and subdue'; both are written with the heart classifier; the sūtra's use of the person classifier is incorrect).
