一醆水（責簡反錯用也正體從玉作琖禮記爵用玉盞夏后氏以琖殷以斚周以爵或作盞方言云盞㮎也郭璞亦云最小盃也經文從酉作醆非本字集訓云醆盎齊濁酒微清也殊非經義也）。

一醆水 [a cup of water] (The second character is 責 + 簡 [zhǎn]; this is an erroneous usage. The standard graph is written with 玉 as 琖. The Liji says: "For goblets they used jade zhan; the Xia lineage used the zhan, the Yin used the jia, and the Zhou used the jue." Also written as 盞. The Fangyan says: "Zhan means cup." Guo Pu also says: "The smallest cup." In the sūtra text it is written with 酉 as 醆, which is not the original character. The Jixun says: "Zhan is the turbid wine of an angji vessel that has slightly cleared", which completely departs from the meaning in the sūtra).
