炫燿（上玄絹反說文炫亦耀也廣雅炫炫火明也下遙笑反賈注國語云燿示也明也說文燿照也考聲云火光照也並從火也）。

Dazzling (the first character has the fanqie 玄絹 [xuán + juàn]; the Shuowen says: '炫 also means 耀 [shining]'; the Guangya says: '炫炫 means the brightness of fire'; the second character has the fanqie 遙笑 [yáo + xiào]; Jia's commentary on the Guoyu says: '燿 means to show, to be bright'; the Shuowen says: '燿 means to illuminate'; the Kaosheng says: 'The light of fire illuminating'; both take the semantic classifier 火 'fire').
