聚沫（上情喻反下從乑乑音吟乑眾立也下滿鉢反從水末聲說文又說末字從木字上加一為末也）。

聚沫 Cluster of foam: (The first character has the fanqie 情喻 [jù]; it has 乑 beneath; 乑 is pronounced 吟 [yín], meaning a crowd standing. The second character has the fanqie 滿鉢 [mò]; it takes 水 as semantic and 末 as phonetic. The Shuowen also explains that the character 末 adds one horizontal stroke above 木 to become 末).
