襁褓（上薑兩反說文負兒衣也從衣強聲下音保蒼頡篇褓福也聲類云小兒被也或作緥䙗音替）。

襁褓 (The upper character is pronounced qiang3 [jiang-liang fan]. The Shuowen jiezi says: 'Garment for carrying an infant on the back.' Formed from 'clothing' (衣) with 強 as phonetic. The lower character is pronounced bao3. The Cang Jie pian says: '褓 means swaddling-cloth.' The Shenglei says: 'An infant's coverlet.' It is also written as 緥 or 䙗, pronounced ti4).
