昔𢝐（竭言反考聲愆過也從彳從心幵聲也幵音牽或作[彳*(哉/心)]寒古字也經從衍非也）。

Past transgressions (昔𢝐; *jié* + *yán* fanqie. The *Kaosheng* states: "*Qiān* means transgression; derived from *chì* 彳 and *xīn* 心 with *jiān* 幵 as phonetic." *Jiān* 幵 is pronounced *qiān*. It is also written as [彳*(哉/心)] or 寒 in ancient script. In the sūtra it takes *yǎn* 衍, which is incorrect).
