匱惜（逵位反集訓云匱匵也匣也從匚音方貴聲也經作匱筆誤非也下音昔惜慳也匵音讀也）。

Stingy with (匱惜; *kuí* + *wèi* fanqie. The *Jixun* states: "*Kuì* means a chest (*dú*); a box. Derived from the *fāng* 匚 radical with *guì* 貴 as phonetic." The sūtra writes 匱 by a clerical error, which is incorrect. Lower [character] pronounced *xī*. *Xī* means stingy. *Dú* 匵 is pronounced *dú*).
