Provisions stored up (糧貯: the first character has the fanqie 力薑. The Shuowen states: 'Stored grain.' Du [Yu's] commentary on the Zuo zhuan says: '貯 means to store up, to hoard and accumulate.' The Shuowen says: '貯 means to amass; formed from 貝 [cowrie] with 宁 phonetic.').
