鵄吻（上齒時反下武粉反春頭瓦獸飾也吻口也象鵄喙也字書云以壓天大喙音吁衛反）。
Roof-ridge ornament (鵄吻: the first character has the fanqie 齒時; the second character has the fanqie 武粉. A ceramic beast ornament on the ridge beam. 吻 means mouth, resembling an owl's beak. Dictionaries say it suppresses heavenly calamities; great beak is sounded [fanqie] 吁衛).
