Chanting and whistling (吟嘯: the second character has the fanqie 肖曜. Zheng's commentary on the Shijing says: 'Pursing the tongue and blowing air to produce sound.' The Han school of the Shijing says: 'Singing without a fixed tune or rhythm is called 嘯.' Also written as 歗).
