魯扈（上魯字上從魚下從日下胡古反鄭注禮記扈偃蹇自大也上林賦亦縱橫行也漢書音義曰扈謂跋扈縱恣也說文從邑戶聲也）。

魯扈 (the first character, 魯, has the "fish" radical above and "sun" radical below. The second is fanqie: 胡 + 古. Zheng [Xuan's] commentary on the *Liji* states: '扈 means arrogant, haughty, and self-important.' The 'Shanglin Fu' also uses it for unruly behavior. The *Hanshu yinyi* states: '扈 means overbearing, willful, and unrestrained.' *Shuowen jiezi* states: 'Derived from the "city" radical with 戶 as phonetic').
