糾舉（經酉反孔注尚書糾正也鄭注周禮糾察也杜注左傳糾亦舉也從糸[┴*├]聲[┴*├]音居幽反舉字從手也）。

糾舉 (jiū-jǔ; fanqie: jīng + yǒu [jiū]. Kong [Anguo]'s commentary on the Shangshu says: '糾 means to correct.' Zheng [Xuan]'s commentary on the Zhouli says: '糾 means to investigate.' Du [Yu]'s commentary on the Zuo zhuan says: '糾 also means to bring forward.' It takes 糸 as semantic component and [┴*├] as phonetic component. [┴*├] is pronounced with the fanqie: jū + yōu [jiū]. The character 舉 takes 手 as semantic component.)
