樹荄（古來反爾雅荄根也郭璞曰俗呼韭根為荄方言東齊謂根曰荄說文草根也從草亥聲也）。

樹荄 (shù-gāi; fanqie: gǔ + lái [gāi]. The Erya says: '荄 means roots.' Guo Pu says: 'Colloquially, leek roots are called 荄.' The Fangyan says: 'In eastern Qi, roots are called 荄.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'Grass roots. It takes 艸 as semantic component and 亥 as phonetic component.')
