Shaving [the head] (除剔) (fanqie: 他 + 歷. The *Mao Commentary on the Book of Songs* says: "*Ti* (剔) means shaving the hair." The orthodox form is 𩮜; the ancient character form is [狂-王+(火/刀)]).
