煆玃（古霞反字書猳亦玃也正作𤠙亦作𭛥下俱縛反郭注爾雅𤣓似獼猴而大蒼黑色能攫持人好顧眄說文云大母猴也經作㹢𤞲非也）。

Large apes (煆玃) (fanqie: 古 + 霞. The character dictionaries say: "*Jia* (猳) is also a *jue* (玃)." The orthodox form is 𤠙, also written as 𭛥. The pronunciation of the second character: 俱 + 縛. Guo's commentary to the *Erya* states: "The *jue* resembles a macaque but is larger, dark grey-black, able to seize and hold humans, and fond of looking about." The *Shuowen* says: "A large mother monkey." Sūtras written as 㹢𤞲 are incorrect).
