Confession and repentance (懺悔) (the first character: fanqie 策 + 陷. The *Jixun* says: "To state one's own faults." The *Yunying* says: "To state one's own repentance." It follows 心 "mind" with an abbreviated 韱 phonetic. The vulgar form written with 截 as 懺 is incorrect. 韱 has the fanqie 精 + 廉; it follows two 人 "persons", 韭 "leek", and 戈 "halberd").
