財購: [The second character is] gǔ-hòu fan (gòu). The Shuowen jiezi states: "Gòu means to redeem with money; it derives from 貝 ('cowrie/wealth') with 冓 as phonetic." 冓 is also pronounced gǔ-hòu fan.
