惌讎（於袁反考聲云怨仇也蒼頡篇怨恨咎也說文恚也從心宛聲下受流反鄭箋毛詩云讎憎惡也顧野王云謂怨憾也又仇也集訓云冤之正偶說文從言雔聲雔音同上也）。

惌讎: [The first character is] yú-yuán fan (yuān). The Kaosheng states: "It means enmity and foe." The Cang Jie pian states: "Enmity, hatred, blame." The Shuowen jiezi states: "Rancour; it derives from 心 ('heart') with 宛 as phonetic." The second character is shòu-liú fan (chóu). Zheng Xuan's commentary on the Classic of Poetry states: "Chóu means hatred and detestation." Gu Yewang says: "It means enmity and resentment; also an adversary." The Jixun states: "The standard counterpart to yuān." The Shuowen jiezi states: "It derives from 言 ('speech') with 雔 as phonetic." 雔 is pronounced the same as above.
