矛刺（上母侯反說文酋矛也長二丈案此說是用古尺即今尺之丈六也案矛字象形即今槍槊之類也或名為𥎞下此恣反爾前已釋也）。

Pike and stab (矛刺: the first character has the fanqie m- + [h]ou [=máo]; the Shuowen says: 'A long pike (酋矛), two zhang long'; according to this explanation, it uses the ancient foot measure, which is one zhang six feet in current measure; the character máo (矛) is pictographic, belonging to the category of modern spears and lances; it is also named 𥎞.
