Emaciated and haggard (𤯝瘦: the first character has the fanqie sh- + [g]eng [=shěng]; Du's commentary to the Zuo zhuan says: 'Shěng (𤯝) means disaster'; Jia Kui says: 'Illness'; the Shiming says: 'Shòushěng (瘦𤯝) is like emaciated and wasting'; the sūtra text writes shěng [省], which is a borrowed character and not the original graph).
