作繭（堅顯反考聲云蠶繭也禮記云世婦平蠶奉繭以示君說文蝅衣也從糸從虫從芇芇音眠）。

Spins a cocoon (作繭: [繭 is pronounced] 堅 + 顯 [jiǎn]. The Kaosheng says: 'The cocoon of a silkworm.' The Liji says: 'The royal consorts tended the silkworms and offered cocoons to show to the ruler.' The Shuowen says: 'The garment of a silkworm; it derives from 糸 [silk], 虫 [worm], and 芇.' 芇 has the sound 眠 [mián]).
