蚊蜹（上勿分反下儒銳反顧野王云小䖝好入酒中者也說文秦謂之蜹又云齧人飛䖝也俱從䖝文芮皆聲也芮音同上也）。

Mosquitoes and gnats (蚊蜹: the first character is pronounced 勿 + 分 [wén]; the second is 儒 + 銳 [ruì]. Gu Yewang says: 'Small insects that like to get into wine.' The Shuowen says: 'In Qin, they are called 蜹.' It also says: 'Flying insects that bite people. Both derive from 䖝 [insect], with 文 and 芮 respectively as phonetics.' 芮 has the same sound as above).
