羂索（涓兖反聲類云羂係取也古今正字罘免𮊁從冈聲或從糸作羂肙音恚緣反從口也）。

Lasso (羂索: [羂 is pronounced] 涓 + 兖 [juǎn]. The Shenglei says: '羂 means to capture by binding.' The Gujin zhengzi states: 'A snare or net, derived from 冈 [net] with 肙 as phonetic; or written with 糸 [silk] as 羂.' 肙 is pronounced 恚 + 緣 [yuān] and derives from 口 [mouth]).
