撾撲（上竹爪反下普卜反廣雅撲擊也顧野王云撲打也說文從手業聲業音卜）。

Beating and striking (撾撲: the first character is pronounced 竹 + 爪 [zhuā]; the second is 普 + 卜 [pū]. The Guangya says: '撲 means to strike.' Gu Yewang says: '撲 means to hit.' The Shuowen says: 'It derives from 手 [hand] with 業 as phonetic.' 業 has the sound 卜 [bǔ]).
